Location - Again, Pleiku is pretty off the normal route but if you do happen to find yourself here, being a pretty big town, it's got gyms! The gym is centrally located so won't to be far from any town hostels or hotels.
Price - We thought we'd struck lucky again when we were let in without being asked to pay an entrance. However, upon exiting we were then asked to pay and to be frank didn't think it was great value for the cost. The price was 100,000 Dong which is a little over $4, which to any westerner still sounds cheap, but in Vietnam this is actually quite expensive.
Equipment - Its got the basics, a couple of bench presses, one squat rack, a smith machine, some running/ cycling/ cross trainers and a range of dumbbells going up to 40kg. It is also has two TechoGym style free weight benches (which if you know about gym equipment they're pretty rubbish).
It's certainly got enough plates for the bench press and squat rack to keep anyone happy. It also has an awesome leg press and a small Crossfit type rig. The equipment is in great condition and the gym itself is very clean
Extras - There are toilets with lockers and you can also rent a towel.
Synopsis - Honestly speaking, it's a bang average, small leisure centre style gym so not really the type of gym you want to have a monster session and scream until blood vessels in your brain burst!
However, it was nice and quiet (we were there midday) so we had the run of the place, which potentially you may not have in the evenings if theres more people due to its size. Obviously we weren't really that impressed, especially at being charged so much when we were leaving. (Potentially thats our fault though because we should have asked). Overall though, Peliku Gym has everything you need to have a good session but lacks any charisma or personality.

Don't worry guys and girls. I'm not going to leave a average review and then not offer an alternative! I have therefore scoured the internet for what looks like Pleiku's Best Gym - and I've found it! Nam Long Gym looks amazing, costs 15,000Dong (less then a $1) and is full of good equipment!
Opening Times - 5am - 8am and 2pm - 8pm Monday to Saturday (so be careful on times!)
